Search the below rpm and install it .(i.e., wine).
Step1: rpm -ivh wine-core-1.1.9-1.el5.test.i386.rpm
Step2: open the vlc-1.1.5-win32.exe via Wine Loader.
Step3: Play the desireable video or audio file.
